Anne Duffy is a Canberra based model whose modelling has taken her around the country and overseas. Anne was the first model I photographed nude, and also the first fetish shoot.

My first nude shoot was a joint shoot with fellow Canberra photographer Allyeska. Given that it was my first nude, and only about my third or fourth shoot in all, I was a little unsure of myself, it turned out a lot better than I expected, though I have no idea what I was thinking by putting a border around some of the photos.

A little while later I entered the Canon 5 photo competition (even though I use Nikon cameras), I've always had a bit of a quirky sense of humour and one of the items you had to use was a little cocktail umbrella. I had a bunch of bubble wrap hanging around and thought it would be an interesting idea to have a model wrapped in bubble wrap, with only slight movement possible, with the umbrella being poised to pop the bubbles.

It didn't really work the way I wanted it to, but it was fun, and yes quite a few bubbles were popped :)

One of the other items that had to be used was a candle, I decided to try and be tricky and use multiple exposures to make it look like a set of triplets around a candle or fire. I really must try something like that again one day.

On the same shoot I wanted to see how oil affected the photos and what type of lighting effects you could get.

The next time we shot, I wanted to try some fetish themes - on the tame side, in particular I wanted to use a set of ballet boots (what can I say, I have a thing for boots). I really liked how the boots worked with the white background.

The next time was a straight studio shoot, I was still trying to refine how to do the white backdrop in this shoot, I probably over did the contrast in this particular photo.

Although I've developed a particular style for each genre of photos I take, I like to try different things from time to time, in order to keep things interesting. For this shoot we were out on location and the light was provided by a little LED key chain light.

Later in Mission Beach we got to play around with a little pseudo rainforest area.

This last shoot is of a type I must do more of in the future, it was lit only by the flames of the staff, swords and fans.
