My bare heart

On a trip to Sydney at the end of last year I had a last minute photo shoot with My bare heart in one of the National Parks around Sydney.

It wasn't a park that I was familiar with, however there were quite a few interesting places to shoot that she knew of.

One of the things I often have trouble with is deciding whether or not I prefer the colour or black and white versions of a photo. Sometimes it's an easy pick, other times it is quite difficult as I'll like them both for slightly different reasons. I had that problem with the photos above and below, so for the blog I picked one of them to use the colour version and for the other black and white.

One thing I need to remember in future is not to carry a phone on my belt while walking in the bush. I'm normally a bit paranoid about losing things, so am regularly checking on them.

This time though I stopped checking about half way through, and didn't realise that I'd knocked a phone off my belt until I was checking into a hotel a few hours later.

It wasn't in a reception area so I couldn't use the phone locater. Luckily when I went back I was able to find it about halfway along the track we'd walked.
