A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to work with Canberra model Stefania, we've worked together a few times since, though not as often now that she is based in Melbourne.
For the first shoot Stefania was wanting some fitness photos done at locations around Canberra starting just before sunset. We mostly used either natural light, or the light that was available in the surrounding area. There were a few that I used a single flash on the end of a mono pod for (one of them is in the slide show).
The next shoot was very similar lighting wise, we only had a short time available and shot more of a fashion look in places around Lennox gardens and the National Library.
Later that year we had an indoor shoot that was fitness based, using natural light coming through a diffused fabric hanging in front of a glass door along with some studio lighting.
Before she moved to Melbourne we were able to do a quick shoot around civic with more of a grunge feel, part of it was shot in an underground area that had a number of skylights that allowed for a bit of a spotlight effect
I headed down to Melbourne for the Avalon Airshow last year and we were able to use a fellow photographer's pool to do some underwater photos.
The most recent shoot on one of her trips back to Canberra was studio based, with a fitness and art nude focus. We mainly used studio lighting, with a bit of natural light for some of them.
